Okay, I really enjoyed ep 2.
First, the EXCEPTIONALLY high-quality shade being thrown at Zach Snyder via the style of American Hero Story. So many kudos to whoever pulled that off. Bravo.
Second, knowing that the clone (?) butler is Tom Mison, who I did not recognize in the pilot, but am pleased to have again on my TV screen.
I have it on somewhat questionable authority that you'll be seeing a lot more of Mison later in the show.
Yep, that already happened in episode 2. That entire sequence was bonkers in a way I found both disturbing and delightful. Honestly kinda gratified that the first all-out nudity we saw on this show was in a dude, after all the gratuitous T&A stuff we saw in Game of Thrones.

If you mean the full frontal nudity, that was last night.
Yep yep. I haven't gotten around to watching yet, but everything I'm hearing is good. Regina King and Jean Smart in a show that busts on Zack Snyder? Shut up and take my money!
Is it just me or is Watchmen getting a little....Lindelhoffy? I'm beginning to remember why I bailed on Lost after the first season. It's one thing to have the characters speak in sly coded references if they're trying to keep secrets, but when two characters who both know what's going on are the only two people in the room and they STILL can't say out loud what the fuck they're talking about...I begin to suspect the writers don't know either.
Like Veidt's comment "I am not your maker" - are we meant to believe that the estate already had a lakeful of creepy clone babies when he moved in? Or just as a figure of speech indicating he wasn't proud of them? (I'm hoping the former only because I've been trying to imagine the real estate listing.)
Has anyone watched Mrs. Fletcher yet? I just started it tonight, and so far I find it interesting.
Mrs Fletcher had some great performances, but ultimately you could tell the book it was based on was written by a man and had some male gaze issues.
I started His Dark Materials this week. I never read the book or saw the movie, but I'm really loving the show so far!
