Just finished the finale, and I got what I wanted from this season: YOU DO NOT FUCKING MESS WITH THE STARK GIRLS.
Arya is my precious murderbaby, and I will hear nothing against her.

That was SO fucking satisfying. I know a lot of shit went down in the episode, but I let out my biggest screech when Sansa cut her eyes to Littlefinger after the litany of crimes. I still think the set up was irritating and clumsy, but whatever. I'm feeling generous. That was kind of worth it.
Ice dragons ahoy!
It was extremely satisfying.
Oh my yes.
I didn't need to post twice
(A) I am pretty pleased with myself for not watching last week's episode until today.
(2) The Court of Winterfell rocks justice hard
(iii) I get that if you have the opportunity to stick a zombie dragon on screen you almost have to take it, but I am still very upset. The dragon has three heads!
I really want to see the alternate season 7 of GoT, where all of the character's actions in the finale made sense based on their actions in the rest of the season's episodes.
Heh.
I'm so not emotionally involved in this season, it feels like a bunch of non-canonical fanwanking to me. Sense-making not required.
Arya saying she was the executioner made me wonder where Ice is - it's two swords now, right? Widow's Wail (does Jaime have that one? I vaguely recall we've seen it recently but I don't remember where) and...another sword?
Oathkeeper. Brienne has it. And, yes, last we knew, Jaime has Widow's Wail.
I've been kinda feeling like I'm watching mostly to see if they can stick the landing with all the crazy threads and hints and corners they've painted themselves into -- I'm glad it's finally building to SOMETHING rather than just aimlessly wandering around every corner of Westeros (both this season and hopefully next), but I find I'm so so uninvolved in the cast of thousands and spend at least half the time eyerolling at the main characters...
Oh, look. Blue-eyed dragon. Oh, look, more incest. Oh, look, Cersei is manipulative and Jaime is stupid.
(Although I do apparently care deeply that GILLY READ THE THING NOT SAM YOU DO NOT GET TO TAKE ALL THE CREDIT FOR THIS SAM I HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT.)
