Kaylee: So how many fell madly in love with you and wanted to take you away from all this? Inara: Just the one. I think I'm slipping.

Completely agree, Vonnie.

That was quite a fight, though - Grey Worm and Whitebeard vs the Sons of the Harpy.

I'm a little concerned about what Shereen having the blood of the king means to the Red Woman at this point.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

So, apparently we DO care about Rhaegar and Lyanna. I wonder if Melisandre saw that in the flames.

"That's Tarth." I love it when a show ships my ship.

As soon as that ending sequence started, I knew it would be bad for one or both of those two.

I'm very worried for Shireen, but I do think that Stannis would go to the mat for her.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So, apparently we DO care about Rhaegar and Lyanna

Of course we do!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

There are any number of similar bits of history that have either been only vaguely mentioned or have not been mentioned at all. The conversations we got in this episode seemed very much like "We're just gonna put these dots here. No reason. Connect them? Why would you think that? That's silly." So I have to think there will be Relevance.

Trust that instinct. It's really the only narratively sound choice.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

What a fascinating bit of exposition, Petyr.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Petyr clearly doesn't believe the "kidnapped" part.

Has the Knight of the Laughing Tree story been told on the show?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Note also that Ned was not a king. He was Lord of Winterfell, and the King's Hand and the Warden of the North. But it was only Rob who took up the old crown as King of the North.

So when Melisandre is coming on to Jon Snow because she wants to make shadows, she needs the blood of kings.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Hil, no, I do not believe it has. I'm not sure we've talked about Lord Reed really at all.

Well, historically, the Starks were kings, even if there was a significant gap in there without the title.

"Fewer"

Good old Stannis.
