They killed Alcide! You bastards!!
Seriously, they're killing off the characters I still kinda liked. This is not a good trend.

That was actually kind of shocking.
A comment on facebook about TB last night was 'that was pointless.'
I couldn't have agreed more, until I thought about it a bit.
All the 'meet anew cute' dialog between Sookie and Bill makes me think that there is an intention of coming full circle with them...therefore, Alcide had to go.
Tara's mom's delusions must mean there is a miraculous comeback in the works. Perhaps Tara will be the true hero in the end.
Eric's grief over Silvie...and reminiscence of Godrick, as exacerbated by the illness, could be meant to make it okay with his fans for him to 'go into the light.'
Eh.
At this point, I'm just hanging on the see the end of the train wreck.
The whole mess with Silvie was so ridonkulous. It was saved only by the chance to see Nan Flannigan again and marvel at Eric and Pam's terrible 80's hair. I never ever thought I wouldn't care at all about Eric and Pam, but here we are.
I should've been sad that Alcide died but I didn't really care other than thinking how it was nice of the show to send him to the grave butt naked.
Fun to see Hoyt again, even if it was Hoyt as his Fortenberry forefather. Maxine buying it was shocking. Not that she didn't deserve it, but that was a death I wasn't expecting.
Jessica not eating makes me tired. You can eat, child. You just can't eat faeries. Bah. Bill's stupid finally shows up in his progeny. She needs to eat something and go have hot sex with that cutie boyfriend before LaLa runs off with him. Probably too late for that, though.
I'm so ready for this show to be over.
I'm so ready for this show to be over.
Yep.
I can't believe Tara is really dead. I completely didn't believe it because they didn't show it happen, but now Pam confirmed it. Ugh. Just when she was getting interesting.
And Alcide. I kind of hated his personality, but I'll miss the eye candy.
I am going to HATE this season of True Blood when I get to it, aren't I? We're in the middle of rewatching them, and just (re)started S4 last night. I haven't seen anything from S5.
Do we talk about Netflix originals in here? I finally jumped on the OitNB bandwagon. Only a couple of episodes in, but the show and the cast are fantastic. I especially like Kate Mulgrew.
And Laverne Cox's emmy nomination was well earned.
Sorry, -t, I don't subscribe to this thread, so I'm just now getting back. And I haven't seen the finale of Penny Dreadful yet. I was just surprised that Ethan was the one who apparently managed to exorcise Vanessa.
OK, good, because I thought that was altogether weird. That Ethan was the one to do it, and that the exorcism was apparently a pretty simple matter, really. I cannot make sense of it, though I can't say I've tried all that hard.
