Premium Cable: The Cursing Costs Extra
[NAFDA] A thread for the discussion of all original programming on HBO, Showtime, Starz and other premium channels.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I was thinking that there's nothing much I still like about True Blood, but I do still like Pam. Not necessarily her storyline right now, but I do enjoy the character. Also Lafayette, of course.
And I don't think Tara is really gone, since we didn't see it happen.
Apparently there are interviews where they sob like they'll never see each other again, some where she's gone but not GONE, so they seem to be playing us pretty hard. It's a slim and kinda rude death, even if she wasn't popular.

I saw The Leftovers. Did anyone else see it? I did not like it at all. I am trying to figure out what the point is.
I recorded it but haven't watched yet. I was already ambivalent about it, you are not making me want to watch it more...
I did like it! But I'm a sucker for that kind of story. And I thought Justin Theroux was really good, as well as the kid who plays his daughter.
I haven't watched it yet either. (I'm so not caught up to 2014 tv yet.)
Although I did watch True Blood last night and although I am glad to see that Eric didn't "meet the sun" - I'm not sure that death bay the Vampire flu or whatever its called is a better fate.
