So I marathoned True Blood last week and I think I liked the season better than I liked the prior season. And I did like the season premiere.
I agree that it was silly to have Jessica waiting outside. . .but they just wanted to show her being contrite about what she had done so I didn't mind it so much. (Although, really - if Adelinde (why is that name so popular on tv now? Okay, maybe TWO isn't that popular -but really? Adelinde?) had just gone up and locked herself in the attic and stayed away 'til dawn there would have been no problem.
So, how are people being infected with the Hep V that the vampires were given via True Blood? Did the bottling plant also infect regular soda with Hep V?
I'm just watching True Blood to be completist about the whole thing. We're all the way back to naked, sex toy Jason? Is that it? Not that Ryan Kwanten isn't very pretty naked, but we had so moved beyond that. And having Pam off on some Eric spirit quest while her progeny is murdered? And didn't she feel it when Tara got offed? Bah, humbug. And I never cared much about Sookie anyway but even less now when it's how many seasons in and she still goes off traipsing through the woods alone? That's what got her almost killed and entangled with Bill in the first place. And I don't care at all about Sam being caught up with Jurnee Smollet and her baby. I'm in it for Andy and Lafayette. And maybe Eric if he ever comes back.
I just finished S2 of OITNB and all I can say is dayum. That was some powerful shit.
I just finish S2E8...I don't want it to be over.
I was thinking that there's nothing much I still like about True Blood, but I do still like Pam. Not necessarily her storyline right now, but I do enjoy the character. Also Lafayette, of course.
And I don't think Tara is really gone, since we didn't see it happen.
Apparently there are interviews where they sob like they'll never see each other again, some where she's gone but not GONE, so they seem to be playing us pretty hard. It's a slim and kinda rude death, even if she wasn't popular.
What was on Lala's head? That looked more complicated than hair, like he'd glued the scarf in a pattern to his head.

I was unsure of the right place to put that--correct if required.
So I finally watched the most recent episode of Penny Dreadful. That was...not what I was expecting.
I saw The Leftovers. Did anyone else see it? I did not like it at all. I am trying to figure out what the point is.
I recorded it but haven't watched yet. I was already ambivalent about it, you are not making me want to watch it more...
