Oh man, now I want to listen to Oliver!

[NAFDA] A thread for the discussion of all original programming on HBO, Showtime, Starz and other premium channels.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
This is her. Looks like she's been in three regular L&Os and one SVU. [link]
Also, does she ever get a first name? Looking through her credits, on various shows she's played Senora Marquez, Mrs. Lopinta, Mrs. Sanchez, Mrs. Fuentes, Mrs. Gonzalez, Mrs. Carmichael, Mrs. Bosch, Mrs. Diaz, Mrs. Lopez, Mrs. Santiago, and Senora Ibanez.
Hey, she got Carmichael and Bosch--at least she's been allowed to marry out of her culture. < 80% of the time.
I was kinda hoping that I'd hit Dr. as one of the titles. I am a sad racial panda today.
I wish I'd recognized that Shambala Green is now Vee. (I'm on Ep7 of S2, and she's quite the season's villain, isn't she?)
If the rest of the run of this last season of True Blood is like this first episode, I'll be happy.

Really? I thought it was horrible. I'm only watching because it is the final season.

Apart from the whole Tara thing (and they didn't actually show her getting splatted, and I certainly don't trust her mom, so I'm not sure she's really dead-dead) and Sookie being the stupidest faerie ever by walking home alone, I loved Andy being an uber-mensch and ballsy as hell and Jessica REALLY trying hard and succeeding at doing the right thing. That stuff really worked for me. The rest made sense in terms of the world this show is in.
I am so ready for True Blood to be over. I hated that episode!
The standoff between Jessica and the Hep V vamp was ridiculous. It's not like he could get in the house, so the whole thing was pointless.
So I marathoned True Blood last week and I think I liked the season better than I liked the prior season. And I did like the season premiere.
I agree that it was silly to have Jessica waiting outside. . .but they just wanted to show her being contrite about what she had done so I didn't mind it so much. (Although, really - if Adelinde (why is that name so popular on tv now? Okay, maybe TWO isn't that popular -but really? Adelinde?) had just gone up and locked herself in the attic and stayed away 'til dawn there would have been no problem.
So, how are people being infected with the Hep V that the vampires were given via True Blood? Did the bottling plant also infect regular soda with Hep V?
