I was talking to my brother this afternoon and positing that Nikolaj had been a major impetus behind the decision to give Jaime some facial scars, to give more of a visual difference between Jaime in season 1 and now, especially in shots where you can't see his hand.

I always wonder if whoever made up the, "There are seven doors in a forest," meme, where one of the doors leads to Narnia, and one to Middle Earth, etc, but included Westeros on that list had ever read the books.
From the first time I saw it, all I could think was, "no one ever chooses the Westeros door."
