Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I totally can imagine her drugging Jaime in order to beget a proper Lannister baby without having to continue suffering Joffrey in bed.

If the goal is just to get some Lannister to sleep with you, Lancel is a much easier mark than Jaime.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

This statement is very true.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Forgot Myrcella was the middle child. But she is still a girl putting her in the bottom WRT sucession. And she's in Dorne, and the only representative of Dorne at the wedding was Oberon, yes? And him recently arrived in KL w/o many contacts who could get near the King's table. Not many partisans in her camp (figuratively speaking.)

I have given far to much thought to how Margaery would go about getting pregnant once married to Joffrey. Of course she would have to let him in at least once (ugh) to make any pregnancy possibly legitimate. After that she would need someone who looks like a Lannister. Perhaps some as-yet-unheard of cousin. Lancel might be easy, but he also has loose lips and seems more Loras' type than hers. Jaime would be easier to blackmail into silence, especially now that Cersei is spurning him. It would be a great challenge, but she is lady ready for most any challenge (even marrying Joffrey.)

eta: I sit with D_E wrt the possibility of Margaery being the intended target.

True dat, but a gigilo would have to killed afterwards to prevent him spilling the story. There's a beautiful poetic justice in making the King's Uncle/Father complicit in treason.

Ok, weird, I popped over the ASoIaF wiki and re Myrcella it says something along the lines of "she is commonly thought to be" the only daughter of Robert and Cersei.... Commonly thought to be??? Is there some reason to think Cersei is hiding children???? I feel like I missed something.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Whatever awfulness comes Petyr's way will be no more than he deserves.

Marg clearly was in no ways involved. Olenna likely was. Tywin...might have been.

Oh, look, Tywin cares about history. I wonder where Tyrion got that from. Ahem.

I am side-eyeing the writers REALLY hard at the re-imaginging the Sept Sex.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Erin, Robert had nothing to do with her, genetically. People only think he does.

Ooooh k, thought there might be something more nefarious that I had entirely missed other than alternate fathering which is hardly a spoiler at this point.
