I need to see a puppet Theon now.
Also - is this our Victor?

kat,
I have watched that video 3 times. The end of the video KILLS me.
Also - is this our Victor?
Yes. He works at that paper.
Cool.
GRRM talks about the Black Dinner and the Massacre at Glencoe as inspiration for the Red Wedding and this blog post from the Independent talks about another Medieval blood feast.
Dangerous times to have a supper party.
Because I'm sure you're all desperate to know, House o' Reason has now only two episodes behind. We watched the episode with Tyrion & Sansa's weddings, poor things. Joffrey's threat to Sansa made me twitch, and Pete and I were yelling at the screen for Tyrion & Sansa to at least pile some chairs in front of the door, FFS!
Also, the not-quite-hopeful look on my poor baby Tickybox's Arya's face when The Hound told her he was taking her to her mom and brother. Ouch.
I believe you are only one episode behind. That last episode you watched was Second Sons, which is episode 8. Last night was episode 9. They skipped a week because of the Liberace movie.
Ah-ha! I will let Pete know.
After that episode, I also hit the Wiki of Fire and Ice so I could find out what happened to Sam. I'm not as emotionally invested in him as Arya, but I still think he's a precious bunny.
I want a gif of Arya whacking the pig farmer in the head with a stick, and a caption that says "Not That Kind".
House o' Reason GoT report: we watched the Red Wedding episode last night. I accidentally gave Pete a vague idea of what might happen because I mentioned I was going to possibly leave the room at one point since I had been warned by you peeps. Tho' he assumed that my comment was related to my mother figure dying issues, not Oh G-d my poor baby Arya and not the wolf too! issues.
But he was suitably impressed with the grimness and sheer lack of honor in the massacre. He's also kind of cynically amused by the people who completely freaked out over the Red Wedding, and theorizes that many of them don't have a lot of experience with the epic fantasy genre.
