I thought Sophie Turner was heartbreakingly wonderful all through the episode - at her wedding, the feast afterward, then in the bed chambers. And the morning after scene was nice and awkward, even though Shae is all happy that Tyrion didn't boink Sansa in the night.

In general, I think Sophie Turner has been absolutely spot on perfect as Sansa. I've seen a lot of hating on Sansa from some book readers, and I can see why see can be a difficult character to warm to, but I have a great fondness for her. I feel like I've seen far less hating on Sansa from the TV side, and I like to think that that's because Sophie Turner has really found the core of the character.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I kinda wish he was blonder. In my head he had the Targaryen hair, but I might have made that up.

HA - I was thinking he should have been swarthier.

Lady Olenna laying out all the multitudinous convolutions of relationships with the various Lannister/Tyrell weddings was HI-larious.

I kind of want her narrating everything that happens.

Art Crawl!!!

Jessica - I also thought Dario should be swarthier.

I looked up his description and I must be thinking of someone else. Daario is supposed to dye his beard and hair blue, Tyroshi style..

Nice, with the gratuitous sex during the leeching scene.

You know, I don't think that was gratuitous, exactly. Melisandre may be birthing more shadows as well as burning leeches.

Oooh! Good point!

Lovely interview with Sophie Turner:

Very lovely. Also pretty cool that she's read the books, which helps explain (to me) why she's got such a good handle on Sansa's character. I'm a little curious to know who's read the books and who hasn't. Dinklage has talked about not having read the books, but being partially spoiled for whether Tyrion is still alive in the books or not.

I love how proud Davos is when he finally gets to the end of that damned sentence.

I liked the little touch with the word "dragon" being a Westerosi sight word.

[Meaning, for people without kindergartners, it's a word that's used so often that kids are taught to recognize it as a full word unit rather than being encouraged to read it phonetically. "Dragon" was the only word Davos didn't have to sound out.]
