Arya/Gendry

I kind of wonder if this may actually happen in the story eventually. Although lots of other tales from Westeros are filled with "they came so close to true love, but never saw each other again," stories.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Hound and Arya will be fun to watch together, but yeah, not so much with the sexual. Yikes.

Arya/Gendry looks like it may develop canon legs but they feel mostly buddy-ish to me. On the show, the characters that have sparked off Arya the best were 1) Tywin Lannister (AGAIN NOT IN THE SHIPPY WAY) and 2) Jaqen H'gar (... actually, once Arya grows up to be, I dunno, 17 or 18 and should she meet up with Jaqen again, I may not be adverse to shipping. Mostly because I found the Jaqen actor lovely to look upon and listen to.)

As for Hound himself, there is pretty big contingent that ships him with Sansa. With actual porn and everything. I see some basis for it, although I think that's been tone down in the series.

In the books, Sansa even does this herself. Over time, she starts remembering her encounters with the Hound as more sexually charged then they actually were. She starts remembering that the Hound kissed her the night of the Battle of the Blackwater Rush, which he never did.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

It's killing me a little every Sunday night that I can't just mainline this season. And next.

A reminder to whitefont book spoilers for those of us who are never going to get through the books before the series is over, please.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I'm watching this show with someone who has not read (and likely never will read) the books as well as a third person who has also read all the books. Last night I (of course) started giggling hysterically when Dany handed over Drogon to the slaver. The non reader turned to me and said "stop laughing! You're spoiling!" and I couldn't stop myself from responding "if you have no idea what's about to happen, we can't be friends anymore."

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Just noting here (because I can) that I seriously want to use DRACARYS MOTHERFUCKER as my tagline for everything in life. But a significant part of the universe would get spoiled and another chunk wouldn't get it, so.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Since I am never going to get around to reading the books (no, I'm not. Trust me.), will someone please give me a short run-down of what happens to Arya? She's the character I'm the most invested in, and if something HORRIBLE (noooooooo!) happens to her, I need to be emotionally prepared. SPOIL ME FOR HER FATE, and yes, I know, the book series isn't done yet.)

(The actress playing Arya looks a LOT like Princess Tickybox, which is where part of my attachment comes from. To the point of me flailing and shouting "Ticky, nooooo!" if it looks like something bad will happen to her.)

(Also, we're an episode behind at all times, but I am pro-spoilers.)
