[NAFDA] A thread for the discussion of all original programming on HBO, Showtime, Starz and other premium channels.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
It's killing me a little every Sunday night that I can't just mainline this season. And next.
Me too!
Just noting here (because I can) that I seriously want to use DRACARYS MOTHERFUCKER as my tagline for everything in life. But a significant part of the universe would get spoiled and another chunk wouldn't get it, so.
Since I am never going to get around to reading the books (no, I'm not. Trust me.), will someone please give me a short run-down of what happens to Arya? She's the character I'm the most invested in, and if something HORRIBLE (noooooooo!) happens to her, I need to be emotionally prepared. SPOIL ME FOR HER FATE, and yes, I know, the book series isn't done yet.)
(The actress playing Arya looks a LOT like Princess Tickybox, which is where part of my attachment comes from. To the point of me flailing and shouting "Ticky, nooooo!" if it looks like something bad will happen to her.)
(Also, we're an episode behind at all times, but I am pro-spoilers.)
Finally got around to watching the last episode and DRACARYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is all.
Ha! Vowel shifts happen, dude.
I just assume kha-LEE-si is how it's pronounced in Westeros. Like it's wrong, but saying it properly would probably make Jorah sound really pretentious.
It totally makes sense for Jorah to say it wrong, but isn't that how her handmaidens used to say it, too?
Poor guy, it's the one word of Dothraki that everyone knows.
