We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Also, I checked on IMDB, and the official name of the character who cuts off Jamie's hand is "Locke", which I find amusing in that they can call him whatever the hell they want, book readers are always going to think of him as Vargo Hoat.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I, for one, am still confused by Theon calling his sister Yara.

Yeah, I read somewhere "Locke, who has replaced the book's Vargo Hoat" which...ok? Maybe they don't want to deal with introducing the Bloody Mummers, but why bother changing the name of a minor character most TV watchers aren't going to remember by name anyway?

As far as Cercei's misjudgment of Joff goes, I think it mostly boils down to her not being very observant, but also she thought she had at least a few more years of him being a child she could mold into a totally awesome king. She didn't realize that putting a crown on his head at 15 would remove all her parental authority over him.

Yeah, I wonder about that too. My guess is they were worried Osha and Asha would be too confusing.

Right? It's not like they had to worry about watchers getting him confused with that other character "Margo Stoat."

That was the stated reason, but I guess nobody at that meeting remembered there's also a character named Arya.

Rewatching this morning, and man, the inside of the Great Sept of Baelor is absolutely gorgeous.

I think it's easy to forget that the only people Cersei has ever really managed to outwit were Ned Stark and Robert Baratheon. And Robert was drunk most of the time.

And with Ned, I think she just made a lucky bet that his sense of honor was strong enough to completely obliterate any good sense he had. I mean, it's not like Ned was stupid. He was just too damned honorable.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The thing is, Ned only had a couple of options once learning of the news. I don't think he would have survived long regardless.
