"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hot damn, House of Lies. It's always been difficult to watch, for a nominal comedy, but the sex toy part (and Seth Cohen PORN KING) was by far the easiest part of the episode to make eye contact with. All the actors playing the Kaan family are on major fire.

The show is wonderfully fucked up.

And I actually went back to find out who wrote it too....and he writes for New Girl too.

That blows my mind a little.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, sometimes I wonder about writers who switch gears that much. Some of the writers who worked on Andy Griffith wrote for M*A*S*H.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, good god. This episode of House of Lies is so Mottsy that I have freeze-framed at the Doug Hug Emporium. I don't know if I can handle more, BUT IT'S IMPERATIVE THAT I KNOW NOW:

Can you really seduce a guy by fingering yourself and then waving your hand in his face? Is that why I'm single?

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

Game of Thrones Season 3 premieres tonight! And, it turns out HBO is doing a promotional weekend, so if you don't normally get HBO, it might be accessible this weekend.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

They were most definitely cool.

So, the answer of how we're going to deal with a character showing up under another name and not having his identity revealed for a while is...by not doing that.

I liked Margaery. She's like Cersei, only not screwing it up.

I guess Ghost stayed with the Watch when Jon went off. Was that addressed last season?

Did people who haven't read the books get the sense that Dany understood what the asshole slavemaster was saying?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I have not read the books, and it is a toss up whether I know what is going on from week to week, but what do you mean by that question? She seemed to get from tone of voice and body language that he was insulting her and that these troops were groomed to fight. Were we supposed to pick up more than that?

Because books.

I loved how much Cersei clearly loathed Maergery.

I guess Ghost stayed with the Watch when Jon went off. Was that addressed last season?

Yeah, that surprised me.

I also had a really hard time understanding a lot of the dialogue Beyond the Wall, which was annoying. I think it was a combination of bad sound editing and dialogue spoken too quickly in too many different accents.
