I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It seems spoilery to me, yeah.

People who have read the books - tell me if DH is being too spoilery here:

Sort of, yeah. But I am ADAMANT about spoilers for the books. That was exactly the amount of information I was unwilling to give to two different people just last night, even though I actually kind of wanted to. Still couldn't bring myself to give it out.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's something canny viewers should at least be wondering about, I'd say.

Thematically this was a good choice for Mother's Day, sort of.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jessica,

I have not read the books and nothing in that line hit me. I actually did not know what I was seeing at the end of the ep, so that line was actually helpful to me. I was like: W(what/who)TF is that? It took me a minute to process that as a human being and I'm not sure I got that it was a child even though Beau told me it was when we watched last night.

For all,

Daenyrs (sp?) - what was the point of stealing her dragons and then telling her where they are? Can someone explain to me what I am missing?

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Jessica, i haven't read the books and even though i know we're supposed to think that's Bran and Rickon, i assumed it was the two orphan children Bran sent to that farm.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I assume to get her into the House of the Undying, but since that never happened in the books I have no real idea.

In the books, it's basically a bunch of internal monologing that gets her to the House of the Undying, which, you know, not going to work on screen. Her storyline this season, and its deviation from the book has often left me going, "huh." But since they've made it clear from the moment she arrived in Qarth that she would be going to the House of the Undying (which I thought for sure would get cut), I'm still willing to roll with it. I don't think this choice made a lot of sense, but it was at lest more interesting than watching Dany navel-gaze all season.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, I'm sure that's what they're doing and I hope that they make the House of the Undying sequence kick-ass.

I love the portrayal of Pyat Pree so far - creepy, and not taken seriously by the other Qartheen, and then surprisingly deadly.
