Daenyrs (sp?) - what was the point of stealing her dragons and then telling her where they are? Can someone explain to me what I am missing?
I assume to get her into the House of the Undying, but since that never happened in the books I have no real idea.
In the books, it's basically a bunch of internal monologing that gets her to the House of the Undying, which, you know, not going to work on screen. Her storyline this season, and its deviation from the book has often left me going, "huh." But since they've made it clear from the moment she arrived in Qarth that she would be going to the House of the Undying (which I thought for sure would get cut), I'm still willing to roll with it. I don't think this choice made a lot of sense, but it was at lest more interesting than watching Dany navel-gaze all season.
Yes, I'm sure that's what they're doing and I hope that they make the House of the Undying sequence kick-ass.
I love the portrayal of Pyat Pree so far - creepy, and not taken seriously by the other Qartheen, and then surprisingly deadly.
Okay and feel free to white font if you need to: in the book did her dragons go missing?
harrumph. that's what I thought.
BTW, I am pretty invested in those dragons. I am not sure I give a shit about much else besides those dragons. Not sure why I am so attached to them as they have no discernible personality except to set fire to their food, but any touches those dragons, and I want them to get the Joffrey slap.
I think that the dragons should be able to smack down anyone who tries to harm them. Hello, they have their own fire.
