O.M.G.!!!!! ::leaping and handwaving and open-mouthed Akkkkk!:: HOMELAND. Just finished watching Episode 6 and gosh darn don't want to say much because - because. (Am I the only one watching it??) This show just keeps getting better and better. As if the writing and the plot weren't good enough, Clare Danes and Damien Lewis are amazing. My thoughts also briefly turned to Rubicon - THIS is what Rubicon kept trying to work up to, and never did; and wow, this show is only, what, half way through? I have to go find out how many more eps there will be. eta: twelve. Last ep airs 12/18/2011 also eta: looks like the pilot ep is available in full on tv dot com: [link]

Java,
I have not seen this week's ep yet. I will watch it tonight.
I have been watching Homeland, but I'm not sure I like it. The performances are great, but I suspect that the story is just not one I really want to follow.
I'm watching and enjoying it for now. I don't see how they can keep this up over multiple seasons though. At some point, Brody's got to reveal himself at which point he's just another bad guy.
Did no one see the misspelling of "Spartacus" in the slug on the thread page? ("Sparticus", for reference)
Okay, yeah, I read it a million times too. Not sure why it just jumped out at me.
whoops?
(pretty sure I wrote it)
I have never ever noticed. Which means...I don't read the slugs? Probably true.
Brody's got to reveal himself at which point he's just another bad guy. What if he isn't, though?
Alan Sepinwall is following it [link] and, for The Wire fans, compares Carrie to Jimmy McNulty. [link]
Whoa, Homeland, good twist!
Homeland is doing great. I think it's going to give Breaking Bad a run for its money at the Emmys this year.
Tho' I am praying it doesn't go off the rails as it gets closer to the end a la Rubicon or that rainy one in Seattle.
