I imagine it got hit with a lot of demand all at once. It took a couple of tries, but it eventually worked fine for me.

Darn it - it keeps stopping and buffering for me.
I love this show. And Jane did a fine job tonight!
Other than the no wolves - I really enjoyed the scene of Bran riding for the first time since his accident. I mean, up until it all went wrong.
I was wondering if Ros would (book spoiler) instead of Shae - because why introduce another character for that role when you have one already established?
The Golden Crown and horse heart eating sequences were grottier in the books, I think. More screaming for the former and because you're in her head you totally know how difficult it is for Dany to not vomit in the latter scene.
I thought that the scene with Littlefinger and Ros and the other prostitute didn't work very well. I think I preferred that story from Catelyn's POV and I also cannot believe that Littlefinger would tell anyone that much about his motivation .
Wait, there were two episodes last night? (I only ahemmed the one.)
So Viserys gets the crown he richly deserves. (I'm not 100% certain it would outright KILL you -- more likely 1st degree burns, blindness, and a day or two of mortal agony.)
sumi, I separately had the same thought about Ros and her eventual path in the story we're seeing -- I bet Martin wishes he'd thought of it for the first book.
Am I the only one who would have liked to hear where Septa Mordane came from? I swear, I felt bad for both Sansa AND Joffrey in that scene together. That is, if the producers are playing it that Joff is as totally sincere as any young abuser ever gets -- you know it's not going to last but the motive and belief is there. And Sansa by belief and culture is set up to be codependent.
I'm confused, too -- I didn't see Littlefinger in last night's episode (at least not the one that aired).

S. said that, too, but maybe the gold would overheat your brain?
Next week's episode is available early on HBO Go. I watched them back to back and now I'm mildly confused about what happened in which episode so I will limit my comments.
Molten gold is pretty hot, and you'd get the phase change energy difference directly into the skull. Just heating up your brain that much so suddenly might kill you via burst blood vessels and so forth if the burn itself didn't.
My favorite thing about that scene, both in the book and the series, is that Viserys has no idea who he's dealing with and thinks he's won. I didn't love the dragon's egg not burning Dany scene, it just seemed unnecessary and, imo, undermined some of the impact of "He was no dragon".
Oops!
I will whitefont. That was from the HBOGo episode. (I tell you, it took me forever to get that one and by the time I did: it had all blurred together.)
it also seemed like the metal became incredible heavy after it cooled, so that also might be enough to kill a person.
Ought to be the same weight, really, but it would contract as it cooled. That wouldn't be good for you, certainly.
