The looks on Catelyn's and Tyrion's faces were perfect, though.
The prison cells seem a little useless to me, though. Generally you don't want a prisoner able to commit suicide, but there, if you really want to end, all you have to do is jump.
[NAFDA] A thread for the discussion of all original programming on HBO, Showtime, Starz and other premium channels.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Frank, I do have rich, drunk, relatives. But they're Not That Into Me. And they're not fun like that, either. As a writer with some enemies, I'm tickled that Bourdain got to put words in the mouth of his nemesis...he probably couldn't stand up for hours either. What's French for "This is me, not letting it go," or maybe the Creole for "Tact is just not saying true stuff, I'll pass." Maybe they could have named the place "Chateau Marimow" and ground all the axes at once...while you wait. I kid, because I'm crazy-jealous.

Someone linked to an interview with Bourdain (I think it was in this thread), and he had to give Richman props for having the cajones to do the cameo, even though he still considers him a mega-douche.
I know, I saw that. "I hate the bastard, but I do admire him."
I'm also loving Elizabeth Ashley as Davis' wild and crazy aunt.
She is spectacular in everything, but this is clearly her role.
wrod. Also, if she's interested in taking on *female* bohemian n'er-do-wells, I'm absolutely prepared to join that Emily's List of The Damned.
Yeah, Lysa has totally lost it. And they totally went for it, didn't they?
I never know whether I hate the chapters in the Ayrie because she and Robin are so crazy or because of my fear of heights or a combination.
In the book, young Robert Arryn is described by a character as 8-going-on-3. Unfortunately, he's got fairly severe epilepsy... plus a fairly crazy Mom.
Say what you will about the Aerie... all the guests get a view.
Martin is definitely going to the same well that Shrek does for Prince Charmings.
So what did you think about the tourney scene?
I thought it was odd how they broke it up - but I guess it did take place over a couple of days.
I suspect that is the case, and they should have tried to make it a little clearer.
We should be seeing more of the Brothers Clegane: Gregor ( who cut his horse's head off) and especially Sandor (the guy with the burns) by and by.
Have we seen the dragon skulls before now? They get described enough in the books, but I don't think they've shown up until now.
