Aw, I find Jon charming and kind of adorable, but I don't trust his character worth a damn. A little too indicative of the slick carpetbaggers who streamed into the city in the aftermath.

Sometimes I think Jon Seda is the "fetch," of Latin actors.(You know, not gonna happen) But then that makes David Simon et al Gretchen Weiners and I can't live in a world where that might be true. You're right...I guess I like the character, but he's a suit, and I don't trust him. Also, Falsone left some scars. Bourdain did his best to keep the (Some critic he name-checked in his book) is a Douchebag" feud alive.(He probably is, but AB likes to stick that chef's knife in and jiggle it. And I was thinking he wouldn't fit. Nice burn, too, because if he complains, you can accuse him of being so obsessed with himself and his hatchet job that he has to look to fiction to find slights.

I'm thinking they're setting up a potential interesting dynamic with LaDonna-- unless that was Simon just fucking with us, which is, of course, entirely possible.

And I wonder if poor Arnie's going to get bent over a table by his cuz-- Arnie's a very simple creature. He sees the opportunity to make money and he'll work hard doing it, but he's not the brightest tool in the shed, whereas Nelson's all "It's not all about the money, cuz," when you know damned well it is and he's smart enough to make it happen in ways Arnie can't even imagine.

But they had some good loving. But they are also doing the commuter thing, and most Simon marrieds do cheat.
