Game of Thrones:
We know that on January 7th, the critics of the Television Critics Association will be getting a glimpse of the production through a long panel schedule to feature the executive producers, GRRM, and actors Sean Bean, Peter Dinklage, and Emilia Clarke. Word has it they’ll be getting an exclusive look at the show proper, as well—except a lot of Twitter and blog activity on the night.
From The Westeros blog.
(I'm guessing that they meant "expect a lot of Twitter and blog activity on the night" rather than "except".)
VERY late to the game (hey, we don't have premium cable), but we have just started watching Dexter. Liking it lots, although Micheal Hall's lips seem to be a weird color and it freaks me out. Aside from that minor shallow quibble, we are digging it and plan to keep zooming through the seasons.
Starz is premiering their
Camelot
on April 1st.
But they are doing a sneak peeks of the pilot after the finale of
Spartacus
on February 25th.
Sparticus
finale?
Has it started up again already?
Nebber mind. Did some googling. It's a prequel and it starts up Jan 21.
Game of Thrones: They gave the press a 15 minute preview - consisting of clips from various episodes: Mo Ryan's thoughts on the preview and Winter is Coming's full breakdown.
Spoilery for those who haven't read the books.
ETA: sounds like the clips allayed some of Mo Ryan's fears.
We're finishing up S3 of The Tudors. Even after 3 seasons I cannot get past all of the perfectly shaved legs of the Tudor age women.
Game of Thrones debuts April 17th.
From a press release at the Futon Critic.
sj - i could write off shaven legs since razors were in existence and court ladies did all manner of insane things in the name of fashion. Hrm. Historians don't seem to write much about Tudor-era depilation trends.
