Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

True Blood: Very boring episode until the last 15 minutes, and they left lots of loose ends for next season.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

still love Sookie rescinding vampire invitations. she was actually pretty badass in this episode. it was a welcome change. loved when she grabbed "Talbot" and turned the disposal on.

that ending though? stupidstupidstupid.

i'm also glad they killed Calvin after corrupting his character so much.

Yeah, the giggle seemed kind of off. I liked her "negotiation" with Russell, though. That she just invited Bill right in when he came to the door was annoying, but I guess that's the only way to get the dramatic rescinding. I don't know what to make of the ending but I'm not intrigued, either.

The Hot Shot storyline and Sam and Tommy, I do not care for either.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Heh. It's what I've feared from the beginning.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Man, that article was a laff riot. I know they needed to give Jason and Lafayette something to do, but if they cut out those storylines, this would have been tighter.
