Always Anti-fascist!

I thought some of the Entourage fans(and writers) would enjoy this profile of the real inspiration behind psycho auteur Billy Walsh. [link] (I also don't think I'd EVER admit that.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I am so ready for this season of True Blood to be over now that it's all Maryann all the time. Truly hate this storyline.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I don't hate it yet, but I am bored.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I was hoping that thread would get more interesting as things came to a climax, but it hasn't.

Luckily the Jason and Andy show is pretty entertaining. And the Yahtzee was cracking me up way more than it should have.

Also, hoping this isn't it for Hoyt and Jessica, especially after Mama's big revelation about his dad.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I wasn't blown away by this episode, although it did have its moments. Basically anything with Eric and Pam or Jason and Andy was a big thumbs up; everything else was a big "Eh". I really want to be Pam, except not a vampire, but just as awesome and relentless in my lust for revenge against those who make me ruin a good pair of shoes or spend time around small children. And Eric's bloodlust for the "teacup humans" was too funny. (And he can fly!) Jason and Andy's "Who is more poor white trash-off" was great. And Jason's justification for how he most certainly does have to work for all that female attention (working out like a MFer and porn!)? I think he might be a closet Buffista. And really, even if he weren't quite as chiseled as he is, he'd still be a total sex bomb. And only Jason would distract a Dionysus worshipping, blood thirsty zombie by pretending to let her give him a blow job. I still love Jason Stackhouse.

Hoyt and Jessica made me sad. I mean, I knew it was going to happen, but still. I think Jessica will not take well to being dumped. And Hoyt and his Mama broke my heart. You can't help but feel for the old girl because she has been through more than her share of shit, probably from a very early age, but I'll be darned if she is not one evil beeyotch.

I don't know this Evan Rachel Wood creature other than that she used to date Marilyn Manson when she was all of about 2 years old and it was creepy and weird, and not in the normal, Marilyn Manson weird way, in the icky child molester, backyard compound kind of way. That said, she did give me some giggles as the queen. And I am totally down with her suggestion that Eric and Bill just do it already. She seemed awfully cozy with Bill and all up in Sookie's mix, as is, I guess, required of all vampires apparently. And what was Sookie's cousin doing there as one of the Queen's minions? Have we seen that character before? Obviously, Bill had. And so he knew Sookie, or at least knew of her, before he went to Merlotte's that night?

For such a great season, I'm not as excited as I thought I'd be for next week's finale. But I hold out hope that they'll go out with a bang.

Art Crawl!!!

No, we hadn't seen her but I believe that she was mentioned. . . just not what she was doing.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Sookie said she was either dead or missing, don't recall which.

Art Crawl!!!

Hmm, something that Bill hasn't gotten around to mentioning to her?

Compassionately intolerant

I did enjoy the frustration of 'vampire time' versus human time, in dealing with crisis...via the Yatzhee game. That was hilarious. But this episode felt like a placeholder before the big finish. At least I hope it is a big finish after this lackluster ep.

"Teacup humans". Ha! I love evildistant!Eric, but playful!Eric is a hoot.

I have to confess to having a 'dundunDUN' feeling about Lafayette during the 'next on's. I hope I'm wrong.
