I'm sitting in the amen corner with you all. I am so tired of the MaryAnn. Please conclude this story. Please.
I thought it was interesting that she is trying to set up Sam though. Why can't we have a back story with the two of them and their falling out? I thought he knew what she was...but apparently not. So what happened between them?
Question: does MaryAnn know Sookie is special? She might try to get her heart next.
Let's see Jason to the rescue for that too...

That could make it worth it. I shudder to think of what Jason would be like under Maryanne's influence, however, given that his default setting seems to be horndog.
Also, I just read the recaplet for this ep on TWoP, and Ed Quinn's character's name is Stan? Stan the vampire? Ooookay.

I think you have an answer to that:
He probably would be arrested for having wild sex with a tree.
I'm holding out hope mainly because I sense that this storyline is going to give Andy the opportunity to do something awesome and I am living for that day. I do enjoy those Bellefleurs.
yes, I wait anxiously. I didn't think that she was going to have them eat it, I thought that she was going to eat it. I would have liked it better if it had looked less like blood, so that it would have been less obvious to Tara and Eggs, or if they had shown some reluctance to its initial appearance.
This. I'd at least like to know why Tara, and what she wants with Sam, cause it has to be more than just sacraficing him.
Well, we saw that she took his virginity and that he stole money from her and ran away. Mary Ann strikes me as the kind of "person" who will not forgive someone leaving her, she has to cast them away.
Also, Daphne said that Mary Ann has a thing against other "supers" because she can't mind control them. She needs for them to come to her and offer her their love and worship and Sam didn't do that, so I'm sure she's extra salty at him. I can't figure out the Tara angle at all, though. Why her and not a million of the other tragically broken figures in the town?

as I recall, she got Tara out of jail, so Tara's despair might have been a little stronger than the others at that point. Plus, if Mary Ann was looking for someone for Eggs, Tara fit the bill.
Yeah, Tara got a DWI.
And I'm sure Mary Ann has developed kind of a nose for these things.

See, I didn't want to take it there because it makes me feel a little bit icky that Mary Ann would have been looking for another little brown person to complete her set. Yuck.
