Always Anti-fascist!

Very fuckin' cool, Sean. Now, I need to make you a Wirefiend. Funny how those missonary genes worked out.

I love how much you love this show, Sean.

I KNOW! It's totally making me want to go back and rewatch from the beginning. I've forgotten so much.

It's always fun to watch the new convert catch up, isn't it?

I was thinking today -- Deadwood, in one very specific way, reminds me a lot of Farscape. They cram so much into each episode. There are literally no wasted moments, and each new scene brings more revelations and changes, and propells the story forward. So much of TV is locked into the formulaic structure imposed by the studios. Things need to hit beats at very specific points. It's so refreshing when a show isn't compelled to keep that structure, and can keep its own pace.

So yes, Deadwood reminds me of Farscape in that way, in that they both crammed a lot of story in per episode.

Tonight's Wire kicked lots of ass.(Even if it leaves me hopelessly woobifying Prez, which somehow seems less than West Baltimore of me...gotta watch that kiss-it-and-make-it-better thing.) But...damn, I'm not worthy...yaknowwhatI'msayin' Each time I think I got some gift for the written word, those assholes at Blown Deadline make me realize I'm just a newbie looking for the "methane probe". I love them so much. Bastards.

I have finally seen Dexter. It is, thankfully, just as awesome as I'd hoped it would be. If you have Showtime, I highly recommend checking it out.

I might more to say after I've rewatched it.

I've only recently seen ads for Dexter. It makes me wish I had Showtime. I imagine there will be DVDs.

Sean speaks for me. I dropped everything but HBO a while ago. SHOWTIME has a pretty fast turn-around time on DVDs once the initial run is over, IIRC.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

There was a lot to love in last night's Wire, although, as one of my friends pointed out, the Deacon is in danger of becoming the show's McGuffin.

Okay from last night's Wire, the dead guy in the vacant lot that Bunk and the other guy CSI'd up for Kima (HILARIOUS!), that wasn't the security guard, right? Because Chris & Snoop boarded him up in one the houses. So, was the guy in the lot somebody we should know?

I was glad to see Prop Joe get the time he did this week. He's one of my favorite characters! But I'm worried that he just got Omar killed.

Coolness. I'm planning to watch it on Tuesdays, since that's looking like my "there's nothing I want to watch on TV!" day.
