I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Gilmore Girls watchers trivia: The guy who plays Terry in True Blood played Lane's boyfriend/husband Zack. DW spotted him.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

xpost from music

Hey, folks, I've got the True Blood soundtrack. I'll post the title theme ("Bad Things" by Jace Everett) up at Bufrawk, but what do y'all want as another taster. The pretty countryish cover of "Just Like Heaven" or Dr. John's "I Don't Wanna Know" (moody, bluesy. "I don't want to know about evil / I wanna know about love...")

Or something else?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Bad Things is my phone ring tone. It's an awesome song.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Terry is Zack? Huh. Did not recognize him at all.

An unholy alliance of Eric, Pam and Lafayette would be awesome.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oooh, yeah, I downloaded the True Blood soundtrack from iTunes last week - it's got some good stuff on it (although I think the title track may be my favourite still).

Always Anti-fascist!

OMG, Drama and the furry! Turtle in the rabbit suit! ETA: I could say more, after I catch my breath from almost literally ROTFL(See, I'm in a wheelchair...I can do this without straining credulity)...and when did I start talking like Drama? Anyway...the rest of that ep is kind of lame though, at least when even Vince gangs up on E. for not wanting a meaningless shag...honestly, boys, what year was that? I like that about Eric...I don't blame Vince for nibbling at the dessert tray that is his life, but, you know) Not that, even if he were real, I would get with E, because it'd be too much like being with me, in which case I'd be wondering if I could do better, but that's a tale for another day.

Art Crawl!!!

Man, TB really does well with the teasers and the cliffhangers, doesn't it?

I enjoyed Hoyt/Jessica. Those poor misunderstood kids.

Picture Bill and Hoyt's mom having a parental meeting to discuss the situation. Hee.

Also, an episode chockful of Eric. Excellent.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

So, what does that mean that Daphne has scratches/scars on her back? Were they well-healed? Maybe she's a shifter too?!

spoiler-fonted because, while I don't know, I have read up on some of the book stuff.

Art Crawl!!!

I think it means that she was attacked by whatever attacked Sookie. Did you see her eyes? I think that she was not a natural shifter like Sam but has been changed into something - by the attack OR by Marianne. (If Marianne is, as I suspect, some sort of Circe-like figure.) I had the random thought that the minotaur was Eggs. Not sure what made me suspect that.
