Sookie is grating on my nerves.

But the sex is still hot.
Damn, Erik is a badass. Even with foils in his hair.
I loved the foils! That was hilarious.
I've been thinking Circe about Marianne from the beginning. Also thinking that eating food from her house is not a very good idea.
I'm so glad Lafayette is still alive. Also glad that Erik is such a badass. Taking that fool down and not even messing up his highlights. Go on, boy!
I'm still loving Bill's vampire baby. Slattern. Hee! And when Sookie asked if they'd slept together and she was all "Ewww. Old." Double hee! I'm enjoying that dynamic very much.
I don't know what's going on with Marianne yet, but I am more than intrigued. Bitch slapping towel boys, laying the smack down on Tara's mom, blackmailing Sam, and I'm assuming tearing Jeanette's heart out (although that could be someone else). Yep, I'm down. And Tara's new honeydip is hot. And possibly evil. But those might be the same thing.
I feel so badly for Andy Bellefleur. Poor sap. And Terry Bellefleur, so smitten with Arlene and he's actually way too good for her. Hoyt? Still the sweetest thing ever.
Sookie, Bill and Jason remain the least interesting things on the show. Good to see some things never change.
Well, I did love that moment when Sookie deals with Jessica correctly and Bill relaxes and seems almost human - then Sookie hits him with the Bartlett stuff.
I think that it's easy enough to say that she should realize what she's gotten into but I think that actually they haven't been together very long at all and her 21st century idea of what a relationship is totally clashes with his 19th century upbringing AND vampire tradition (which is based on even older human interactions) - so it doesn't bother me that she still gets unhappily surprised at what he is capable of.
And I'm very, very happy that Lafayette is alive. I don't really want him to become a vampire because I like him the way that he is - but I can also see the attraction to if for him.
This epeisode actually sums up a lot of what I love about Bill, how that earnest straightforwardness can be both brutal (such as killing Molester!Uncle) and comic: "And while you are in this town, you must not feed on humans! Also, we recycle in this house!") I just find him terribly enjoyable.
"Is there blood in my hair?" bwaaa!
I know!
Loved that.
Man, another excellent episode.
And Bill trying to find something modest for Jessica at, what?, Forever 21? Try JC Penny, honey.
So, what, Bill stops Jessica from killing darling Pa so he can kill the whole family? Or, no, okay, he's going to glamour them. Right? RIGHT?!
So that's what everyone meant by Mary Anne and her sexy fog...
