She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

Is it obvious to everyone what Uncle Bartlett did?

Hm. Could be. Could be.

And in a weird, all about me, way I can see how that would fit because one of the 'benefits' of living with a huge amount of abuse as a kid is that I am hypersensitive to how people feel. In fact, I've said a thousand times, "I can hear how people feel."

It would be interesting if that is where her power came from ?

I truly have to read the books because I can't imagine what long-term role Uncle Bennett will play.

Even if this speculation is true, then the question remains. What does that mean for our heroes?

eta: On second thought, it seems obvious...duh...that all he is there for is to make wider the split between Sookie and Jason.

That was my first suspicion, but they could do something unexpected. Sookie and Jason seem to be growing farther apart either way.

I couldn't help myself... I started reading the book. So far I've managed to stop reading about where the show is, but I don't know how long that's gonna last.

Interesting. I thought that the uncle hurt grandma. Not hurt Sookie.

le nubian, when Sookie tightly gripped Tara's hand when she saw him, made me suspect. However, I think what was said (by Jason) was "whatever was between him and Gran" but Uncle Bennett's thoughts as heard by Sookie were, "Oh, Lord, I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself..."

Just raises my suspicions. I'm sure I won't have to wait too long to find out.

Cash wins!!

Bill...ohhhh noooo. Expected but unwanted because I wanted to forget that he's essentially dead inside.

Sooooo. Who has an idea for what Sam was doing streaking?

Was the exorcism legit? Are there actual demons in this 'verse?

he probably transformed somewhere and didn't have any clothes. Maybe his clothes were hidden near the house that exploded. He might have been watching the house in case Sookie went over there.

This episode feels so bridgey. Just adds more questions.

I hate the Buffy trope that whenever you sleep with a guy he goes all evil. Or at least indifferent.

Have to assume Bill has a plan. He's giving me whiplash with the broody, sensitive vamp versus the cold, killer hanging with his own kind.

Still loves the way he says "Sookie" better than anyone else.
