Always Anti-fascist!

It's my favorite, but if you think anything in the simonverse is adorable, you haven't been paying attention.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I...well, I'll just wait.

Ha! I was thinking the exact same thing. I figure let's let P-C be.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I will note that I posted that right after Prez's entrance, and I do not, of course, expect actual adorableness. But it's Prez! Teaching school! Aw.

Two episodes in, and I find this to be the least confusing beginning to a season so far. Sure, I don't know any of the kids, but most everything else is a continuation of the ongoing story, so I'm not as lost as I usually am at the beginning of a season.

I see that Lester continues to be made of awesome, that wily, subpoena-delaying motherfucker.

Daaaaaaaamn, Clay Davis broke out the "Sheeeeeeeeeit" twice in one episode.

You know, it figures that as soon as I figure out who the fuck Fruit is, he gets got. Well, at least now I can tell which one is Marlo.

So that's Snoop! I think I saw her occasionally last season. And I thought she was a little kid. And a dude.

I was just joking about Bodie being in charge of the Barksdale crew, but, ha, he pretty much is! Since there isn't a Barksdale organization anymore. Man, that's kind of sad. Is it bad for me to be sad about the disintegration of a drug gang?

Wee-Bey! And his fish!! Aw, man, I was just wondering how that guy was doing.

Weirdly enough, it feels like this season is being far less subtle with its parallels. The cuts between the teachers' PowerPoint presentation and the cops' were basically a joke, and they had Clay Davis mimic the "I'll take money from anyone if they're giving it away" down to the word. It's things like that that make it feel like a regular television show, when it normally feels like its own special beast.

Aw, Bubbles cleaned himself up to be an "uncle"! Heeeee.

So, out of the kids, I like Randy. And Dukie. And Michael is distinguishing himself as well. This means that they're going to die, huh.

ALL THE KIDS ARE GONNA DIE, RIGHT? I HATE THIS SHOW.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

ALL THE KIDS ARE GONNA DIE, RIGHT? I HATE THIS SHOW.

Dying ain't the worst thing that can happen.

The show can only crush my hope if I'm allowed to have it, though! I don't need any more doom and gloom that doesn't come from the show itself.

There's hope, P-Cow. It ain't all doom and gloom by any means.

David Simon is actually eating at my regular neighborhood restaurant right now. With this guy [link]

I'm getting the news from my friend working across the street. I'm at work in another neighborhood. Otherwise I'd see if PC had any questions I could try to get answered.

Heh, I'm not sure I would have any questions besides, like, WHY IS YOUR SHOW SO CONFUSING?

And a follow-up, if I may: WHY DO YOU KEEP KILLING MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS?
