On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hee hee hee. Oh, Michael C. Hall.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, it's a freakish and totally irrational hatred of voiceovers that is frequently problematic for me. It took me three tries to get through the first season, but I'm looking forward to the next one, now.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm with you, -t.

edit: on the voiceover hate-on. I haven't tried Dexter yet.

I revel in the not-aloneness!

I'm happy to join you in your corner, just as long as you don't feel some freaky need to narrate in a quirky and knowing way.

If I feel the need for narration, I will break out in song. And try very hard to rhyme.

This entire fucking season, I was damn near certain that Stringer was going to take out Avon. That had to be the big thing that a friend of mine had mentioned, and there were big flashing signs. Swear to God, it did not even occur to me until, like, TODAY or maybe yesterday that it could possibly go the other way. NOT STRINGER. WHAT THE HELL. I love Avon and all, but...GAH.

Not javachik

I stayed up way too late Friday night/Sat. morning to watch the last half of Mad Men and am here to say that the Golden Globe people got it right, John Hamm sure deserved his award. UK Telegraph about Mad Men and Hamm: [link] The actress who plays Peggy ought to get a nom for an Emmy IMHO.
