Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Anyone else heartbroken by the reappearance of young Randy Wagstaff?

Punishingly Intricate

Seriously. And I could NOT remember the character's name and that made me feel like a bad human. Poor kid forgotten by society.

To me, his appearance was the real Dickensian aspect of the episode.

Always Anti-fascist!

I oughtn't to be here just now...it's a yo-tech thing, but anyway, having seen 5.1. I've got some observations: -How does one write about the evacuation of persons? Cause I get Grizzled Reporter's point about young Latina's sentence construction but I'm hard-pressed(that's what she said) to improve upon it. Of course, I've always been stuck in Features...it, uh, doesn't come up a lot
-They so found an actor to be Young! Simon, it's like freaky.

_Love Clark Johnson again...toward the end of H:LOTS Meldrick was too often whiny and dyspeptic.(Also love the Homicide shout-outs)

- Am torn about whether I agree that being young and pretty precludes solid sentence-crafting...depends on whether I qualify as young and where the body-image demons are that day. Not decided between "Go get 'em," and "That's my hey. Hey!" It's not as if writing a decent lede is up there with a perfect singing voice and violet eyes, although if Simon referenced that I'd laugh my ass off.
