Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

“They’re too pretty to serve time!” said local waitress Dinah McDonald. “And if you can’t release them, can you at least have them make out?”

Hee.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So is the consensus that we are doing a W&P of Nightmare Monday at 8:00 board time?
Yes.

And the consensus is also that Plei is the bestest drug dealer. And bless her for it.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Dr. Who: I think Martha will fit in well. I like that she's more analytical than Rose was. Should be a nice change of pace. I also liked the shoutout to the character she played in the previous series (her "cousin" at Canary Wharf).

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Those of you who haven't had a chance to see Dr. Who might check your local PBS station. One here just started with "Rose" tonight.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Right, Juliebird. It's on right after Langoliers.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Channel 11 here in Chicago (the PBS station that was pretty much the center of US Who fandom in the 1980s) is advertising their broadcast of the revival--I got all squee-ey because it felt to me like Who was returning home, or at least, the place that I always considered its home.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

You know your fandom wins at geeky when it not only runs the statistics on dudes and mans by episode, season, and character, but starts figuring out the mathematical formula to describe the curve of an actor's back and ass, as seen here: [link]

Oh SPN fandom, you're totally forgiven for any wank for that one.
