Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It says something about me, I'm not sure what, that I am as much boggled by the apparent fact that when Chief and Boomer were illicitly getting it on back in the day, they were both Cylons and didn't know it. It's blowing my mind, man. It's like the one little thing I can grab on and point to as why that finale was so freaky and weird.

I am almost convinced I need BSG DVDs, though I feel more like it will be a rent them and watch them all and give them back sort of relationship than a buy them and pet them and keep them forever deal.

Our wings are not tired.

SPN may be a summer deal for me. Also Life on Mars. I like to watch straight through anyway.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Laura,

I end up having mini-marathons of SPN during the season given SPN's horrid timeslot. So I will watch 4 ep over a 1-2 day period, then watch another 4-6 eps over the course of a week, etc. It really keeps me tapped in to the arc nicely.

I must admit, this watching wasn't intentional at first, but then I read some discussion in another forum about the most recent episode and I rudely learned that I was behind 4 eps for SPN! Damn.

BTW, Amazon Unbox has the eps and you can download them directly to the Tivo. This worked very very well for SPN. I had $15 in free credits and I needed to use Amazon to go that far back.

If more networks would jump on this bandwagon and they would reduce the price, I actually would consider buying eps this way on a regular basis. The video quality was pretty good (better than downloads in some cases).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

According to tvshowsondvd.com, which has so far proven to be a reliable source:

"Universal has announced the first season of Eureka for release on July 3. The 3-disc set includes all 12 episodes, including the double-length series premiere. Suggested retail price of the set is $39.98. Unfortunately that's all the information we have right now, but we'll post more news when we get further details and artwork."

Yay!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Spoilery interview, FWIW. Didn't make me feel any more love for the finale either.

Art Crawl!!!

I didn't think it was that spoilery.

I admit that when presented with a 200-person death list, he said no. He's not without conscience, but it's a shallow lake. Sometimes when he appears to have reservations about something, I get more of an impression of "Uh oh, I could get in trouble for this" than the glimmerings of what I would call a conscience. Though it's possible that I've forgotten examples.

I was never as excited about season two as a lot of people were. In some ways I've enjoyed season three more, but I'm weird.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I'm scared to rewatch it. It could remind me of the hilarity, true. But it also could be a letdown and I want to remember it being Just That Funny.

I re-watched "Tall Tales" with the gf and it was still very funny. Maybe not the OMG hilarity of the first viewing, but still entertaining.
