Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Bacic leaving for Leichen makes sense. And I'm assuming that Darmok (okay, I know that wasn't his name--the guy that Marcus dusted) handed Marcus over to some strange Chthons for turning. Which is...weird.
The Wikipedia on the Blade series is sadly sparse. But that might just be that the show's not big on infrastructure.
I'm with you on the strange killings, but I think the "immortal" line was more than poorly worded--it was inconsistent and lacking in sensicalness.
Liked this week's Eureka, but can't say much intelligent about it because my head hurts like a mofo.
I did feel that Jack's comfort level with his position in Eureka was less than it was in the previously shown episode.
This could work, though. Everything seems to be going well and then something he takes for granted, like baseball, is warped enough that the strangeness is highlighted all over again.
Zoe and the school being so strange after she'd gotten settled in and played Puck in the school production was odd enough to be quite noticeable. Though if I hadn't known it was out of order, I might have put it down to television shorthand for showing us how uncomfortable and alienated she felt...which I suppose is shorthand of my own for saying it served the plot of this episode even though it didn't quite fit.
ita, I hope your head feels better this morning and stays that way.
edit to fix punctuation.
What folks here have said. I really enjoyed it, but it did feel like a step back on several character fronts (I'd completely forgotten we were going to get a seriously out of order episode this week).
I was charmed by this week's ep -- but then I was prepared that it was out of order, so I wasn't thrown by that. I especially thought Jack and Zoe had a good father/daughter chemistry, which is always one of my personal soft spots.
Managed to catch
Eureka
last night and really enjoyed it. I think my favorite moment was when Henry introduces Carter at the town meeting, and the picture on the screen moves to a shot of him looking down at the screen. It was a funny moment that showed Carter still getting used to the way things work in Eureka, but being good-natured and game about figuring it all out, which is something I really like about the character. Also, that Colin Ferguson guy is pretty cute (and not in the least generic).
(ita - is Steve Bacic in Blade? Or is there a character named Bacic in Blade? )
Did you guys watch the Emmy AFter Party interview with Jamie Bamber. If so you may have noticed the odd reaction of Bamber's to Michael Ausiello asking after his wife. Well, somebody asked him about it at "Ask Ausiello":
Question: Saw your interview with Jamie Bamber at the TV Guide After Party. So, what is your deal with his wife? He seemed a little concerned. — Chris
Ausiello: A little concerned? He looked like he was about to clock me! A little backstory: When the Museum of Television and Radio honored Battlestar Gallactica in New York last spring, I met his wife, actress-singer Kerry Norton, at the post-reception and the two of us started talking and really hit it off. We were just having a fun, silly time. Totally innocent. So, naturally, when I saw Jamie at the Emmy bash, I asked him if Kerry was with him, and he informed me that she wasn't. No big deal, right? Well, when I brought her name up again -- this time at the end of our interview -- he clearly was not pleased. It was unbelievably uncomfortable. Short-story-shorter: In my effort to break the ice with Jamie Bamber on the red carpet, I think I unwittingly got myself entangled in a love triangle with him and his wife! Someone call Page Six!

Ooh, ooh, I was there! In that very conversation!
Steve Bacic, sumi. I totally forget the character's name.
