I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I think you & I are the only Life on Mars watchers right now.

I'm downloading, but I'm several episodes behind on watching.

Dana is me. I keep meaning to catch up, and I'm talking as someone who ADORED S1 and know S2 is awesome, but I am so behind in my media, it's not even funny. I still have the last two eps of Rome to watch, not to mention the backlog of downloaded SG-1 OMGwhatseasonarewein until the series finale, ALL of TiVo'd Dresden Files, that reportedly awesome Eddie Izzard/Minnie Driver drama people keep talking about, and man, I thought hiatus for The Office and Heroes (which I consider my main fandoms) would let me catch up, but there's just too damn much of it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm another theoretical LoM watcher. It's on my list of things to catch up on DVD after the baby's born (while I'm on maternity leave and trapped on the couch breastfeeding).

Trust my rage

Jessica, new baby is a great excuse to watch a lot of fun TV. Actually, I still watch most of my TV while rocking and nursing Ellie. When is your due date again?

Like Cindy, I watched the mini-series, S1 and half of S2 all together. I think it makes it more enjoyable and the lesser quality episodes get forgotten. I have enjoyed S3, but some weeks have been disappointing.

When is your due date again?

June 10th! And I can't believe it's already almost April. So much left to do!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I just wanted to say thanks for your posts in the Spoilers thread Jessica, as that got me interested enough to watch the finale. Now I really want to know what they'll find if and when Starbuck leads the fleet to earth.

Will they retread the dangerous Galactica 1980 route and have the society they discover be essentially our present day one?

Will the fleet discover a neolithic or Bronze Age earth, whose inhabitants are descendants of the 13th Tribe after their civilization collapsed or sank into the Atlantic?

Will it be a distant future earth, whose society and technology have advanced parallel or in new and interestingly different ways from that of the 12 Colonies?

Will we get to hear Edward James Olmos yell "Get your hands off of me, you damned dirty ape!"?

Will we get to hear Edward James Olmos yell "Get your hands off of me, you damned dirty ape!"?

I would pay for this.

I'm way OT here, but...

June 10th!

Just a little reminder that Ellie's birthday is June 4th. Incase you want to aim for that day, it's a great day to have a baby.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

From way long ago...

I am a flail addict, I admit my flailings and turn my flail over to a higher power.

Sail, may I tag?

So very much enjoying the BSG talk... here's my humble contribution. Apologies if someone else already brought it up.

The Cylons have a plan, as we're told every single episode. And yet, during seasons 2 and 3, events tended to show the contrary, with Six and Eight proposing the occupation, and Three continuously dying to try and figure out who the Final Five are. Now we find out that four of the five (if not all) were leaders in the Resistance. What if that is not a coincidence, and they were rebelling b/c they were programmed to resist any deviance from The Plan?

I like it because the Cylons were creepier when they really seemed to have a plan and we didn't know what it was. Turns out... they may not know, either! Does the final Cylon know? I do love Cylons as the ultimate unreliable narrators. It keeps us guessing and gives the writers a lot of freedom.

Ooh, I like this idea.
