His crazy new town even made his favorite comfort sport into something weird and baffling.

They do feel out of step in this episode. I liked it; the trying to keep up, trying to be good enough, trying to fit in theme. It was a little sadder than the others. Also very funny. I have to cap that Yorick scene. And I LOVED the, "is that subtle enough for ya?" while the Section 5 scientists (who are so young!) gagged over their meals. And yay for Fargo's bumbling breaking the case. There was a lot to like about this episode. "You know I have a gun. It's loaded. And I'm pretty good with it." I'm not quoting exactly, I'm sure.

I'm so glad you guys aren't mad about it airing out of order - irritated to be sure and rightly so - but not mad. For us it was hard that they didn't air in the right order. A lot of the arcs were plotted to have this one air third and I was really worried that it wouldn't work at all in this order.

The "why's it look like me?" and "it's generic" were improvised because, sadly, it did look like me and, sadly, it is generic. Love acting with Joe.

It came out better than I thought.

I like the work Snark was doing in this episode. I like where he and Salli are going.

I gave the mini disc thing to Andy and Jamie so no commentary for me this week, and I'm jeaous that someone else is playing with my favorite toy.

So not generic. Funny exchange, though.

I think the main thing that's suffered from the episodes' being out of order is the relationship between Jack and Zoe.

Sad that the rain kicked out my signal half way through the episode. It is running again, but still just a bunch of pixels here. I think I need to go to cable tv instead of satellite. The internet was out for a little while, but mostly ok.

So I can only comment on the first half, but I loved Allison being kicked to right field for ratting out Jack. (don't know if that happened) And laughed at the generic. Joke has always been in my family that I would be a good criminal because average height, weight, age, hair color.

I'm looking forward to seeing the 2nd half, soon, maybe.

Yeah, being out of order hurt us for the town meeting, Zoe being new at school and all the arcs (Lupo hating me, Salli and Ed, etc..)

Frankly, I think most people won't notice the episode being out of order. Except of course people like us, who are more obsessive observant.

The episodes are very much stand alone. I did feel that Jack's comfort level with his position in Eureka was less than it was in the previously shown episode. Now I may not have noticed that if I didn't know it was out of order.

Aw, that's cool. It was one of the funniest lines, too.

This was good, it felt nicely paced. Though I still think they try to oversell some of their quirky gags -- the bit with the bruiser and the geek would have been much funnier if it had been just a lightning fast scene.

Bacic leaving for Leichen makes sense. And I'm assuming that Darmok (okay, I know that wasn't his name--the guy that Marcus dusted) handed Marcus over to some strange Chthons for turning. Which is...weird.

The Wikipedia on the Blade series is sadly sparse. But that might just be that the show's not big on infrastructure.

I'm with you on the strange killings, but I think the "immortal" line was more than poorly worded--it was inconsistent and lacking in sensicalness.

Liked this week's Eureka, but can't say much intelligent about it because my head hurts like a mofo.

This could work, though. Everything seems to be going well and then something he takes for granted, like baseball, is warped enough that the strangeness is highlighted all over again.

Zoe and the school being so strange after she'd gotten settled in and played Puck in the school production was odd enough to be quite noticeable. Though if I hadn't known it was out of order, I might have put it down to television shorthand for showing us how uncomfortable and alienated she felt...which I suppose is shorthand of my own for saying it served the plot of this episode even though it didn't quite fit.

What folks here have said. I really enjoyed it, but it did feel like a step back on several character fronts (I'd completely forgotten we were going to get a seriously out of order episode this week).
