"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Insiders said the backstory is that he was trained by Bob, under Justin's orders, since he was about 12, so Bob may not have been inclined to do the best job of it, at least back then.

or, Bob may have been instructed to keep things from Harry so that he wouldn't get too powerful on his own.

I love Claudia Black like nobody's business, but Claudia, honey--you gotta work on that accent. It's still wrong.

Oh, lord. I'm in complete agreement. I ♥ her dearly, but... ouch.

I think her American is better than Ben's Sebacean Australish.

Damning with faint praise? Heh.

Anne, I'm with you on not being totally convinced that they're Cylons, but I hope they are.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

This, yes, even more likely.

Incubus baby. Aaaaand eew. Poor Bob. Talk about getting the heebie-jeebies.

I believee I will like this episode even better upon rewatch. Harry taking all the bomb's energy and then collapsing and babbling was cute. "I don't have any rabbits..." And loved how Liz just went with the whole wizard thing.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Claudia Black automatically makes everything more awesome, weird accent or not.

Although I hated her earrings. It's a weird thing to fixate on, I know, but I hated them.

Big hoops, right? I barely noticed... but yeah, it always pings me a little when a woman who might very well find herself in a physical altercation wears jewelry that could get in the way or possibly be a danger to her.

Oh, and don't forget that while we won't be getting any BSG answers until Season 4 in 2008 (waaaah!), we will have more BSG sometime in the fall, in the form of two "extra" or "extended" episodes (RDM didn't know what the proper terminology was) that will be taking place aboard the Pegasus, although the interview that I read this in last night (that I can't seem to find now!) didn't specify if they will be before encountering Galactica or after.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

didn't specify if they will be before encountering Galactica or after.

I'm pretty sure the Pegasus miniseries is a prequel (so they don't have to use any of the main cast).

Punishingly Intricate

Who is captain of the Pegasus now? Has that been addressed at all?

ETA as soon as I hit post I remembered IT GOT BLOWED UP! right?

Yep, while bugging everyone out of New Caprica.
