Yep, while bugging everyone out of New Caprica.
Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Thanks for all the welcoming words. No, I don't know why Dylan wrote it in reverse, just that he did.
Heh. I thought my reaction to Galen Tyrol: The Fivening was going to be wailing and gnashing of teeth and rending garments, and instead, it's turned into 'Huh. Awesome.'
I certainly won't complain about a plethora of Anders models, either. Mmm. What? Not all my thoughts are deep.
Okay. I'm all adequately WTF about the WTFiness. But in the meanwhile I need to state for the record that I'm pissed about Baltar's acquittal. I'm not a death penalty sort of gal, but seriously? No one is going to be held accountable for this stuff? Find guilty and pardon, fine, but not guilty? Adama says, there's a difference between not guilty and innocent, but rephrase that in the light of his vote, and I don't know. Anyway, I found Lee's blah blah forgiveness-cakes offputting.

As long as some of them still have his pre-military hair!
Bear McCreary talks about his version of All Along the Watchtower. A lot.

The thing is, he's already been pardoned, which Lee pointed out -- Roslin issued a blanket pardon for all collaborators right after she took office again. Obviously she didn't intend to include Baltar in that, but what use is a blanket pardon if it's everyone except the guy we already decided we didn't like?
There's no way in hell Laura Roslin was ever going to pardon Baltar. She would have airlocked him as soon as the word "Guilty" came from the head judge's lips.
Don't forget that Tyrol already suspected he was a Cylon when he had his little one-on-one with Brother Cavill back in season 2, so his reaction in last night's ep was more a confirmation to him than a shock, I think. I do love how Tigh's so-typical ultimate reaction was "I'm going to do my damn job and stick by Adama" nicely reflected Sharon's situation.
I learned that the idea was not that Bob Dylan necessarily exists in the characters' universe, but that an artist on one of the colonies may have recorded a song with the exact same melody and lyrics. Perhaps this unknown performer and Dylan pulled inspiration from a common, ethereal source.
Er. Sure, Ron.
Bob Dylan exists in all universes. Those without him cannot sustain themselves and soon implode. Where Bob Dylan does not exist, it is necessary to invent him.
Granted, in some universes, he can actually sing.
So, I thought Lee was hearing the music too? or did I just imagine that. I need to rewatch, i think.
