I would think (If Chief is a cylon, which I dearly hope he is) that the other models aren't flocking to the kid because they don't know.
Also, Baltar as Jesus? Awesome!

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Um. Hi. I'm kind of new here. By which I mean I registered like, a week ago and have been reading and laughing and enjoying all of the posts for the last week, and kind of nervous about posting because, again, new.
Anyway, my nervousness aside, I wanted to bring over something I said elsewhere to see if I was completely nuts in reading too much into song choices. Here we go.
The thing that is ridiculously awesome, and here is the part where I put on my music nerd hat: 'All Along the Watchtower' is a song written in reverse. It's supposed to start off with the joker and the thief talking about how hard they have it, and how lousy they have it, because people keep stealing their shit (HI ROMO) and refusing to take things seriously and keep lying to make themselves feel better and look good(what UP, ENTIRE TRIAL) and then they approach the princes keeping the view as the thief and the joker approach. 'There should be some kind of way out of this' should be the last line of the song- it's the thief and joker trying to get out of having to approach the Princes.
If you consider that all of this is happening as they approach Earth, I have either pulled off the most ridiculous fan interpretation ever, or I might be a tiny bit in love with the entire writing staff.
If there's another place that I should put this, please let me know. Mrrrf, nervous. Sorry.
Yeah, the other Cylons don't know who the final five are -- and they aren't allowed to know. If they ask questions they get boxed.
This show is on monkey crack.
I freakin' loved that finale. I'm not even sure I can articulate why. The trippiness, though, for sure. If they really are Cylons... dude. That's just wild. I'm so very going to read the spoiler thread now, because I know there was laughing!
I just read through the spoiler thread. . . well, 'til it started talking about Heroes because I don't want to know about that.
I loved that last scene where they're pulling back from the ships, but it looks like they're falling until they get to earth. Very nice.
Welcome, maggiesox! I was just about to go dig up the lyrics and see what I could make of it all, so your interpretation is appreciated. I didn't know, well, any of that about the song.
I dug a little more (Also much thanks to maggie!) and found out some about apocolyptic biblical imagry too.
Total crack. With sitars!
Welcome, Maggiesox! This is the right place to talk about BSG (among other shows).
And I love Claudia Black like nobody's business, but Claudia, honey--you gotta work on that accent. It's still wrong.
I feel bad for her--she's so awesome and yet she has so much trouble with an American accent.
