Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I have no idea if these things do any good, but here's E! Online's poll to Save One Show. Vote to save Supernatural.

"Would you mind not farting while I'm saving the world?" - Doctor Who

Also very excited about something I've been waiting for since season 1. Casting announcements is spoilers lite, yes? White font? Black font?

White font for those who like delay of gratification. lol

Dark is also good. I don't think Henry has hit bottom yet, Stark's megalomania has not reached its peak, and we saw very little of Bev and the Consortium. And if Abby comes to town we may learn a more about the not-so-appealing side of Carter that split them up.

Can't wait until summer!

hip deep in pie

I have seen the latest Supernatural, and I have to say I was underwhelmed with the hot Sam/werewolf action. I thought their chemistry was a 3 out of ten. (One being Riley Finn level chemistry, ten being Spike and the BBOC.) I thought JP spent a lot of time before the big scene playing uncomfortable about being attracted to wolfie but not really playing attracted to wolfie. And seriously, he seemed ot be simultaneously making out and flexing for the camera. (Normally, I'm always impressed by JP, as I didn't think much of him on GG, but he seems to have the chops on this show.)

But the scenes with Dean were great and that last scene between the bros. was quite amazing. I can see all the things that are going to come out of this ep., but I wish it had engaged me more.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

machall, if you've been over to skiffy, you already know (it was a "character" spoiler, not a "casting" spoiler, I mispoke.) And apparently Colin already dropped this particular info on us last September, if perhaps you don't remember, *I* didn't! :D

It's a personal preference that I like dark(er) better, if only because while quirky and light is fun, it's also more easily dismissed. The grimmer stuff resonates with me. I like more consequences, I like higher stakes, and if I'm laughing at the world about to end, then I'm not taking any of the story seriously and I'll forget about it in an hour.

(disclaimer: I like the light quirky aspect, I wouldn't want to lose it for the world, I'm just very excited by this news.)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm hoping they can find a nice balance of going darker while maintaining the quirky charm on Eureka. I need the quirk. Give me the quirk. Lately the dark is just not working for me. Heroes is just this side of my limit. Dresden Files is right on the line - I have not decided about it yet. I fear that had I been in this state of mind a few years ago, Angel would have been too much for me.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Wow! Looks like bad fanfic.

Wow! Looks like bad fanfic.

It's directed by Tim Russ (Tuvok) and he's done some good things.

It's basically a very expensive fanvid. Starring actual actors from the series, of course.

Andi and I recently watched his "Roddenberry on Patrol" and were quite amused. Also at the behind the scenes stuff also included on the DVD.

RoP is a take on Shakespeare/George Lucas in Love -type thing, made in 2004.

From the looks of the trailer, this won't be one of them.
