Will there be? I couldn't tell if Supernatural werewolves heal preternaturally quickly or not, but she might not have any visible marks except the gunshot wound. Though of course the dead body in a trashed house with Sam's prints everywhere is trouble enough on its own. Boys should invest in some oily rags and kerosene.

I truly don't think there is anything like official real-world werewolf canon, particularly because it's a folk belief in far too many cultures and countries so that you can find total contradictions. But thanks to Lon Chaney Jr et alia, there's at least some common Western media-influenced canon to consider.
I'm definitely of the "wait a month and see what turns up" school, too. But aside from that, I'd be hatching schemes to drive to places that you'd need a 6+ hour hike to get to other humans on those problematic nights.
Also, given that Madison stayed from turning during the night she stayed awake wouldn't some gentle experimentation next month with caffeine and amphetamines and a solidly locked room be in order?
Yes, take a week off, stay up all night, sleep all day and then re-adjust.

I will say, although this episode brought the emo (and the Queensryche!),
Which, you know, amuses me, as I had Jilli burn me a bunch of Queensryche for the casefile where I'm planning Mary Sueing my 'hood. So it's like my writing soundtrack got Kripked!

I think Jilli would argue that they're actually more on the Goth End of Things, as they wanted to be the Next Sisters of Mercy instead of the Next t Insert Metal Band Here .
But I'm not sure I buy that. Though it does tie into Jilli's Theory of Goth (American Style, for Women of a Certain Age).
