A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

skippity skippity, not really reading...
I just sent a page full of SPN fic and picspam links to my friend K, who doesn't have much experience with fandom (as far as she's told me). Can someone explain to me what possessed me to link to wing!fic?!?
Winchesters make me crazy.
(I linked the tiara one too. Gah.)
Yeah, Sammy pretty. I want the director who did the Dean n Cassie scene from Route 666, though. The material was every bit as good, but there wasn't enough linger. Or maybe Jensen's just had more onscreen sex scenes and knows how to play to the camera. I know! Lemme direct!
I did love the realization on Sam's face when she put the gun in his hand, though, of what he has been trying to do to Dean, just how awful a thing he's asking. And dutiful Dean, stepping up to do the dirty. Sam took a step toward growing up, though, by not letting Dean take the job this time.
Ok, so she's a dog.
LINE OF THE NIGHT, PEOPLE.
I will say, although this episode brought the emo (and the Queensryche!), it was weirdly treading water on the mytharc overall. Like, there is only so much "It's a metaphor for my plight!" I can stand before I have to find out what the plight actually is, you know?
Possibly I am a wee bit impatient, having written the goddamn ending myself already, but -- progress, please!
progress, please!
I can get behind that. I liked tonight for the MoW bit and for the flail at the very end, for I am a flail addict, I admit my flailings and turn my flail over to a higer power (such as Nutty, who wrote the ending already.) But, I'd like to move past the current flail and find the flail-squared.
I really love that song and it worked.
So, Sam and Dean each killed a human tonight. (Werewolves, to be sure, but I doubt the police will pick up on that.) Any bets on if/when that will come back to haunt them?

Yes, to all of this. I thought they played that very well.
I think Sexy-Victim-of-the-Week was a little quick to choose euthanasia on the say-so of guys who'd just been proven to not know nearly as much about lycanthropy as they thought. I'd have at least tried the monthly lock-up option for a bit with someone on hand with the silver bullets in case I managed to break out.
The immediate fatalism and noble self-sacrifice would have made more sense if she could recall what it was like being a werewolf (and maybe eating someone) rather than just having blackouts and scratched up wainscotting to go by.
I was thinking I'd opt for taking the next three, three and a half weeks to research possible cures and having wild hot monkey sex before taking the suicide option.
