Queensryche? Honestly?
Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
progress, please!
I can get behind that. I liked tonight for the MoW bit and for the flail at the very end, for I am a flail addict, I admit my flailings and turn my flail over to a higer power (such as Nutty, who wrote the ending already.) But, I'd like to move past the current flail and find the flail-squared.
I really love that song and it worked.
So, Sam and Dean each killed a human tonight. (Werewolves, to be sure, but I doubt the police will pick up on that.) Any bets on if/when that will come back to haunt them?
I did love the realization on Sam's face when she put the gun in his hand, though, of what he has been trying to do to Dean, just how awful a thing he's asking. And dutiful Dean, stepping up to do the dirty. Sam took a step toward growing up, though, by not letting Dean take the job this time.
Yes, to all of this. I thought they played that very well.
I think Sexy-Victim-of-the-Week was a little quick to choose euthanasia on the say-so of guys who'd just been proven to not know nearly as much about lycanthropy as they thought. I'd have at least tried the monthly lock-up option for a bit with someone on hand with the silver bullets in case I managed to break out.
The immediate fatalism and noble self-sacrifice would have made more sense if she could recall what it was like being a werewolf (and maybe eating someone) rather than just having blackouts and scratched up wainscotting to go by.
I was thinking I'd opt for taking the next three, three and a half weeks to research possible cures and having wild hot monkey sex before taking the suicide option.
See, I know it breaks the metaphor, but, exactly, Matt. I don't think it's just Oz talking when I say "cement basement. Strong door. Lock from the outside." I mean, she knew, so there are steps, dammit.
And next week, Hollywood AD, no?
Yes, she was truly a woman who had never watched Buffy.
Dana, I am not 100% sure it was Queensryche. Sounded like them, though. Also, they have an umlaut somewhere in their name, which under the Blue Oyster Cult rules, means they may be counted as classic rock. Only on alternate Thursdays in months that do not end in Y.
LINE OF THE NIGHT, PEOPLE.
Thanks!

Well, she was pretty sure she'd killed someone, and she didn't want to live with that.
Dana, I am not 100% sure it was Queensryche.
Closed captioning said it was.
it was Queensryche, Nutty. Silent Lucidity to be specific...
I brought up Oz while watching, as well. cement basement and strong door wouldn't have been near as angst inducing though. so i'm okay with the ending with regards to moving along the Sammy is "eeeeeeevil" storyline.
