Was this last Dresden ep actually the pilot? (I haven't seen it yet.)

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
it was supposed to be a 2-hour movie, Theo, that would have stood independently in hopes it would function as a pilot.
I really hope all this Ancient Mai stuff actually amounts to something, because right now she's simply playing the boogeyman, something Morgan can already accomplish, and in a less annoying fashion.
I suspect that they want to change the relationship with Harry and Morgan, so they need a boogey man if Harry and Morgan are going to work together more.
What would you all have thought if they framed the episode differently and scripted it as a "flashback" episode? That could have fixed a few of the problems in "Stormfront."

With present day Harry as a quadriplegic, replaced by a new wizard captain played by William Shatner?
Le Nubian - you are so right! They would not have been on New Caprica if not for Baltar (and Zarek.)
But that means that the fleet would have all been together somewhere when Gina set off the nuke -- would that have caused greater loss of life?
The trial stuff was mostly boring. And would they have questioned Roslin about the death list? Why not have Gaete testify? He actually saw the thing. . . as did the Chief.
sumi,
I thought the fleet was pretty much together when she set off the nuke. She set it off right after Baltar's swearing in ceremony, I believe.
But wasn't most of the population already down on the planet?

Not yet, IIRC -- until Baltar announced the permanent settlement, they'd been restricting the numbers of who could be on-planet at any time pretty strictly (because they were just landing shuttles, not ships).
