Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

I'm so looking forward to Eureka's return. I watched some episodes again a couple of weeks ago, and they made me realize how much I wanted more Eureka.

Art Crawl!!!

Sorry about the foot.

Exciting to hear that you guys are getting ready to start shooting season two.

(ION, it was amusing to see Jack Coleman being kind of plastic on Special Unit 2 after seeing him being brilliant on Heroes just a couple hours earlier.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yay! I do look forward to the return of Eureka quite a bit -- something to look forward to this summer, for sure!

Hey, Colin, welcome back! I admit to being pretty jazzed to hear that Jane Espenson got hired on there--I get the feeling she'd mesh pretty well with the writing staff's sense of humor.

Anyway, yay for more Eureka!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Hi Colin, I hope you're recovering well from your surgery. I can't wait for new Eureka episodes!

Oh, when you see him, tell Neil we loved his shot on Supernatural. Crossovers are fun!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I've been MIA with a foot surgery and stuff, please excuse my not reading everything that has happened since my absence.

Well, I just skipped five hundred posts because I'm lazy, so I think foot surgery is a good excuse. Hope that went well, and you are healing quickly (and that PT isn't too much of a bitch).

It's great to see you here, and it's great to have Eureka to look forward to.

Oh, for those who might have missed the announcement in Sunnydale Press, I've put forth a proposal to split off a Heroes dedicated thread from Boxed Set -- the discussion starts here in the Lightbulbs thread. The formal proposal should start voting on Sunday. As it will definitely affect this thread the most strongly if it passes, I want to be scrupulous that Boxed Set habituees know what's up.

(Oh, and there's less than 200 quite civil posts discussing the idea, for those who are shy of having to digest novel-sized arguments.)

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Ooooh, more Eureka. I'm ready for that. Is season 1 coming out on DVD at all, Colin? I've got about half the episodes on my TiVo, but that is not, unfortunately, all of them. I'm sort of a completist.

What is even happening?

I was wondering the same thing, Sail. I'm a late-comer and saw the final episode first. I liked what I saw, though and am sorry I missed the boat.

For some reason, my TiVo caught part of a Malcolm in the Middle episode, this week. I was skimming through it, even though I never watched the show, because Malcolm looks just like a guy I went to school with. Colin was playing a Sheriff in it and had a very soapy storyline with some woman. I had a funny disconnect for a moment.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

From what I recall, there's some work yet to be done for the DVD set. Something about a blooper reel and...I really should have been paying more attention.
