Giles: I jump out of the circle, jump back in, and, and, shake my gourd. Buffy: Hey, I think I know this ritual. The ancient shamans were next called upon to do the Hokey-Pokey and to turn themselves around.

Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Ooh, tough. Okay, F Nathan, because, hi, I have *eyes*; C, regretfully, HRG, because as much as I like him he kind of scares me; and M DL, because he seems like the only one able to *be* married without cheating on or mindwiping his spouse.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Better keep a written calendar, Lee.

Sorry, Kate - I was composing my post before I saw yours, at which point, I sort of cackled. A little.

F Nathan, C HRG, M DL. Pretty much Holli's reasoning.

OK, now bed.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

FCM: Eureka's Sheriff Jack Carter, Smallville's Lionel Luther, Lost's Michael Dawson

F Michael, again because I have eyes; C Lionel, because he scares me, M Jack, because he is kind of adorable.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

In re the whole Sandy, Jack, John thing, if you marry the latter, you get to be the hot stepmother.

Well, that might make the marriage brief. But worthy of a Jackie Collins novel!!

hip deep in pie

I like Nutty's pervy way of thinking.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

F - DL (hello arms), M - HRG (awww bless), C - Nathan (feels slimy to me)

M - Jack Carter (a-dorable), C - Lionel Luther (don't watch Smallville), F - Michael Dawson (hot, but ultimately a little craxy)

My friend K and I watched some SPN last night. Never has so much tv been consumed so quickly for the sake of hotness.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

FINALLY watched Heroes last night. OMGLOVE. I love this episode SO MUCH. Just...wow. Love. Yeah.

Anyway, DH and I were talking last night about the powers, and the varying ages at which they seem to manifest. Claire has obviously had her healing power from infancy, because she survived the fire. Almost everyone else we've seen so far developed their powers as adults or teens. Now, do we think that this is because Claire's power is uniquely suited to being accidentally discovered (Toddler!Claire would have been noticing all her life that scraped knees didn't stay that way), or is there something special about having 2 empowered parents that makes your abilities manifest earlier in life?

Discuss.
