Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

...okay, who's up for a round of Fuck, Chuck, Marry: Hot TV Dads Edition?

JenP - Feb 27, 2007 7:52:31 pm PST #7367 of 10001

Well, clearly, I am.

Hee! Oh, I should have seen that coming.

Okay. John Winchester, Jack Bristow... Sandy Cohen.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oooh, hard one

F John (many many times), M Sandy, C Jack

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

F-John, C-Jack, M-Sandy.

The F and M were hard.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Hm. Okay. C Sandy Cohen (love you, dude, but you're just not in the same league), F John Winchester (because he's hot like burning, but I'd rather not end up like Mary), and M Jack Bristow (he might be a little more stable than John Winchester in the day-to-day married life stuff, and he managed to raise a marginally less fucked-up kid than John).

Huh, that was surprisingly easy. I guess I'm just lucky you didn't include my latest TV Dad Crush (Mr. Bennet)!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

aurelia, the episode is up on NBC.com

Yeah, dialup is not my friend. I'm hoping some good ending bits are in the 2 minute recap (which wasn't up last I checked).

Hee, I was mostly just being a smart ass, but never one to turn down a round of F, C, M...

Didn't watch the OC, but I'm guessing of the three, I'd probably want to M Sandy Cohen. I'd F both the other two, but... F John, C Jack (oh, that pains me).

Heroes edition:

DL, HRG, Nathan.

And now I'm going to bed - now with some good dreams, I'm guessing.
