Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

From that article:

cross-over programming, including Eureka's Colin Ferguson's guest appearance in the ECW ring,

Dude, seriously?!? That's hot.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I wonder if the people who wrote that release are aware of how closely it represents an i Onion article.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

SurgeTV? I'm checking the date in case we're GroundhogDaying it back to April 1st.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Oh, please let that be a joke.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm totally voting/praying for joke.

Spike TV was originally The Nashville Network.

G4 was originally TechTV.

Pretty soon, all 500 cable channels will be exactly the same.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

SurgeTV hopes to tap into the newfound audience of science fiction wrestling fans, by promoting cross-over programming, including Eureka's Colin Ferguson's guest appearance in the ECW ring, and Season 2 of Stan Lee's Who Wants To Be A Superhero to include ring matches between competitors. Saucier, racier stories will be aired after the midnight hour, and in a change for the popular channel, may include R-rated material.

Yeah, I vote joke.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

OLN is changing its name to VS (Versus).

amych - Aug 24, 2006 5:49:47 am PDT #745 of 10001
Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

In OLN's case, I approve -- people watch it for bike racing and hockey playoffs, not the huntin' an' fishin' that they show at odder and odder hours; it's a sports network now, however dumb the new name.

But people watch SciFi for... SciFi. So, huh?

DXMachina - Aug 24, 2006 5:56:08 am PDT #746 of 10001
You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I've never even heard of OLN.

I wonder if the people who wrote that release are aware of how closely it represents an Onion article.

I was thinking the same thing. There's nothing about a change on the Sci-Fi site.
