Boxed Set, Vol. III: "That Can't Be Good..."

A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much any other "genre" show that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Jack Bristow. IJS

Ha! Very true. The Winchester and Bennet patriarchs seem more inclined to self-sacrifice for their children; Jack will fuck everyone *else's* shit up to keep his daughter safe.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Third (and final) preview chapter for White Night is up for those caught up with the Dresden books:

sorry, what was I saying? My brain melted in the hotness.

Mine's currently caught in an F, C, M loop, and it can't decide. There are worse things to be stuck thinking about.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Hm. Okay. C Sandy Cohen (love you, dude, but you're just not in the same league), F John Winchester (because he's hot like burning, but I'd rather not end up like Mary), and M Jack Bristow (he might be a little more stable than John Winchester in the day-to-day married life stuff, and he managed to raise a marginally less fucked-up kid than John).

Huh, that was surprisingly easy. I guess I'm just lucky you didn't include my latest TV Dad Crush (Mr. Bennet)!
